"Your thinking dictates your decisions"

The Traveler's Gift
So I thought I'd do a post that's a little bit more uplifting. A few of my friends/family have done this post already and I love the idea. It's a little game called "Memory Lane"... Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together (it can be whatever, whenever, and can include me and Brody, or just one or the
other). It doesn't matter if you knew me/us a little or a lot, just anything you remember!
2. After you've written a memory on my blog, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. I always love to talk about fun past times and I also love getting comments so this will be a great combination of both!
other). It doesn't matter if you knew me/us a little or a lot, just anything you remember!

Kylee...I hope this doesn't freak you out to much to know that a stranger is looking at your blog. I have been great friends with your Aunt Mary Ann since grade school and spent lots of time with her family. I happened across your blog from your Moms. I just wanted to thank you for your travel pictures and commentary from your summer vacation. I was so inspired that I booked a trip to Washington D.C. for October. Your thoughts were just what I needed to push me in that direction. Thanks.....
that's cute that joyce commented on your blog! She and Ann have lots of crazy memories growing up. That could be a whole post on Ann's blog: crazy things she did w/ Joyce! I love that they have remained great friends since high school.
I will win the prize with the earliest memory of you :) I remember when you were in my tummy and how you made me throw up when I ate some spicy mexican food late at night! I have so many other wonderful memories of you I couldn't possibly mention just one. OK- I'll do this one. You called me from Juneau the day Brody left after he had been there to visit you for 5 days the summer of '06. I was just leaving work and I knew when I saw your name on my phone that you would be calling to tell me about his visit. I knew within the first 10 words that you were in love with him and that I would soon be planning a wedding! The happiness that radiated in your voice was something I had never heard before from you. It was so sweet and I loved hearing you so happy.
I loved having you as the darling little flower girl at Jamie's wedding. You were so precious and well behaved.
hmmm... things i remember...
meeting you at fhe and inviting you to alaska with us, that first bbq where we met maryn and jamie, the del sol dance, the dumpster incident, the chairs in the garden incident, the times that you said you and brody were "just dating" and then he came to visit and right after that you told us you were in love! your wedding... it was beautiful and you looked great!!!
First of all could you guys be more active! How fun! K my memory is when you guys moved into your house in Millville and for some reason you guys knew someone who just had baby cows and we went and bottle fed them.
Ky I remember you being the "CUTEST" lil baby and then lil girl. And well look at you now a BEAUTIFUL young woman. I LOVED when your parents came to Utah and I got to spend every moment with you that I could. I am so glad your parents decided to move back to Utah. I have lots of great memories of you..
I remember when you were just a little girl in AZ, you were Emma's age and I just adoooored you. I was always so happy to come over and have you play and show you off to my friends. One time we were playing outside and there was this big black bumble bee and we all ran away screaming and you just stood there going "where's the buuumm-bbble beeeee?" Saying it like an adult to a baby. It was just so cute and even to this day when I see a bumble bee I think of that. I guess it's only fitting that you adore Emma the way I adored you :)
The time you looked at my plate and said, "Wow! That's a lot of food!" hahaha :)
Love you S.I.L.!
