Fun Weekend #1- Bundy's house

"If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there."

We had a fun weekend just recently and it actually worked out that I have something fun and exciting (at least more fun and exciting than school and work) going on for the next month. So I will call them all 'Fun Weekend' with a number.

We spent this last weekend with Ryan and Lindsey which is always a fun time no matter what we do! They came down Friday to hang out with my fam. and to drop off Emma. Brody and I then hitched a ride back to Ogden with them.

The next day, we woke up around 9:00 to get some breakfast at a place that has cheap crepes (which I had a dream about Friday
night) only to find out they weren't making crepes that day. I was so sad. So we just got something else instead. After that we went on a fun hike. Sadly, it was quite a challenge for me but not for anyone else. Despite that, it was very beautiful with all the fall colors and the four of us had some great conversations.

After that, we had originally planned to do a session at the Ogden temple, but after getting all showered and dressed up, found out that they closed early for the RS broadcast. Dang! So instead, the boys went shooting and me and Linny went shopping. They had a fun little fall festival going on downtown and all the stores had food (which I loved!) and some good sales.
I bought a shirt at one of these stores that I now consider probably my most favorite shirt I have ever owned. It's comfortable, it's funny and it's totally me (for those of you that don't know me very well, I REALLY like cookies, and anything sweet for that matter). AND it glows in the dark- even better! It was also fun to see all the fun fall decorations, except sadly, I couldn't bring myself to spend anymore money after buying the shirt.

They had a live band playing in the middle of the road that consisted of 10-12 year olds, and they were actually pretty good! They were really getting into it, which was pretty funny.
Later, Lindsey and I went to the Relief Society broadcast and a dinner at her church. It was a great meeting; I really enjoyed all of the talks. After that, we met back up with the boys and went to the movie Eagle Eye, which we all LOVED! I would definitely recommend it.

-------------------------
On Sunday, we went to church and then drove back to Logan and had a dutch oven dinner in the canyon with my family. Thanks for such a fun weekend to all those who were involved!

I think I titled my weekend blog post "fun weekend #1" too! Did you copy-cat me??? lol I LOVE that you guys and the Bundy's have so much fun together. I'm telling you- it's rare when you both like both the people in the other couple- and it gets even tricker when you both have kids and you have to like each others kids too. I don't see a problem w/ that w/ you guys. . . I mean- Emma- com'on!I love the picts from your hike- and you know I love the T-shirt. Me and Annie need one too

Meanwhile, Sal was wrapped around a chair and a pole and couldn't move! Joke. That's really fun. I'm jealous.

That was so fun. You guys are definitely one of our most favorite couples, if not our very most favorite couple. I'm excited for this weekend too. The rain is really going to ruin some of our plans, but oh well, it will still be good times.

The colors are gorgeous on that hike. I remembered that it hurt my ankles because of those deep ravines you walk in. You know I would love that black cookie shirt too. Didn't do too well with my cookie goal. Looked like a fun weekend for the Hatch Family!

You did have a fun weekend and I totally understand about lengthy posts. As Claire says, "Brevity is a virtue; one that I lack!"
