Broken.

4. The last thing isn't really broken it just needs to be replaced. The window in our bathroom has been leaking really bad because it's in the shower so it gets wet all the time. The water leaked down the outside of the house and caused water bubbles in the siding. We thought we found the paint that the previous owners used for the siding so Brody took a scrapper to the bubbles and ripped a lot of paint off in the process. When I went to paint it however, we realized it was not even close to the same color. We've been through a long process to try and find the exact paint color but I think we finally found it. Since it's too cold now, we had to hang up this plastic sheet and put a heater underneath in order for the paint to dry. It's a bit of a hassle... (this is after some dog stepped on it and ripped it down- No, not Sal, he was in the backyard, I promise)In the meantime- we didn't want the window to leak anymore, so Brody caulked the whole thing completely shut and then hung a towel over the window opening to make sure no water could get in.
It's hideous looking and we can't even open it anymore (Although, I don't know why anyone would want to open the window while they were in the shower). But anyway, we finally got around to replacing it and it's going to cost about $300 (for just ONE stupid little window!- Oh well...). This time we have to pay for it.
Now we're off to go on a CRUISE which leaves in a few days, so it'll be a while till I can post again!!
New Years

The lights at the temple were of course gorgeous as well. I just love lights. It boggles my mind how many strands of lights they have on just one tree!! And I also love lights with the temple in the same picture.

We walked from the Gateway to the Temple, so to make the walk a little more fun and exciting, I thought I would walk the whole way back to the car with my eyes closed. And I really did! I didn't open them once. It was so scary- the whole time I felt like I was going to trip over a curb or that a big tree branch was going to knock me down. Brody helped me though and Jessica too. I feel bad for blind people. (Best line of the night (by Jessica): How do real blind people know which car is theirs??? ha ha. It only took her a few seconds to realize, oh ya, blind people probably don't drive ANY car)
