Milk & Cookies baby shower

I threw another baby shower a few weeks ago for my friend Chelsey who is due with a boy at the end of this month!  The theme was milk & cookies.  I feel like it turned out quite well, considering the last minute change in plans.  I was really excited to have the shower outside in her backyard (because she has an awesome set up out there) and I felt relieved when I checked the weather for the day and saw that it was supposed to be 80 degrees and sunny.  Well, that part was true, BUT there were gusts of 26 mph winds all day, so that's almost worse than the temps being too hot or too cold, so we decided to bring it inside instead.  It worked out great though because the colors of the shower matched the colors of the decor in Chelsey's house, so that made me happy.

The shower was a lot of fun and we had a pretty good turn out!  We ate treats, opened presents and did a little activity (cutting shapes out of material and ironing them on to onesies).  I had a lot of help from our friend Nicole and also a lady from Chelsey's ward, who was in charge of the activity.  Here's how it all turned out:

Front entry way into the house

I forgot to get an "after" picture of the activity, but some of the onesies turned out really cute!

I'm so excited for you Chelsey!!  I can't wait to meet the little guy!

You are the best party thrower! I love how cute everything always is. Your friends are lucky to have you always be willing to plan parties and showers! Good job. I especially liked the theme since it brings back great memories of my 50th. . .

Darling shower!! Parties are sooooooooooo much more work then they ever look. So you totally get credit for all the effort and details, I know how it goes. I am getting completely burned out of parties. Maybe that's because I just did Lydia's. But I won't be too sad when the girls are too old for themed parties :)
