Brody's whole family comes to visit

A couple weekends ago, Brody's entire family came out to Fort Collins for the CSU vs. USU football game.  They have never ALL been out to see us at the same time, so we had a blast!

Evan loved meeting his cousins Dylan, Devyn and Drew, but especially Drew since he's only 3 months older than Evan.  I think they will be good friends :)

We enjoyed going out to eat a couple times, going to the park, hanging out at our house and swimming at their hotel.

I couldn't have asked for better sisters-in-law!

Evan didn't hate his first time swimming but I don't think he loved it either.  The water may have been a little on the cold side..

It was a great weekend and I sure do love Brody's family!

Sunday BBQ

We headed to the park one Sunday for one last summer BBQ hurrah with our friends Jon and Carrie.  It was a lovely evening.

Pretty sunset
Colorado doesn't get that many pretty sunsets, so I always freak out and take a bunch of pictures when we do.

Climbing
We've taken Evan with us to the climbing gym a couple times and he's done great!  He just sleeps in his carseat the whole time :)  We usually go around 2:00 or 3:00 on a week day, so it's not very busy.  It works out perfect!

Brotherly love
Despite the pictures below, Salomon really does like Evan.  He just happened to put his paw right on Evan's face one day but Evan just kept on sleeping.  I promise his face did not get scratched.

First Hike
We took Evan on his first hike to Arthur's Rock.  We can tell he loved it because he slept the whole time :)

Father and Son
We went to visit dad at work one day and introduce him to everyone there.  They all loved him!

Afternoon naps at the park
We are really trying to take advantage of whatever is left of the summer since I missed out on so much of it either being 9 months pregnant or recovering from giving birth.  Sometimes we just go to a park and take naps (well, some of us nap).

Evan's first playdate
Evan had his first playdate on Sept 6 with my friend's little girl Lillie.  She's 2 months older than him but they are the same size!  Evan is a big boy :)  I think they like each other and were trying to hold hands in this picture.

He also hung out with Nicole and Chelsey's older kids (who are about 18 months) at the park.  Maybe one day they'll all be able to play together :)

This is Evan's most favorite position and will calm down almost instantly every time.
We call it the "superbaby" hold.

Too many pictures!

While trying to capture Evan's adorable pouty lip, (which he was doing off and on in between all these smiles!) I ended up with tons of pictures that I couldn't bring myself to delete, even though they all pretty much look the exact same!!  I think I'm going to have a problem....

This one though, is by far my favorite!
