The best vacation ever! (Quick look version)

If you wish, you can scroll down for more details on the trip....

But beware, it's a lot!!! (This is my journal, so I have to put in

every little detail)

Puerto Vallarta (Wednesday)

Our last port was Puerto Vallarta. This was the only port where you could just walk off the boat and go straight to all the fun adventures. In Cabo, we had to take a ferry over to shore, and in Mazatlan we had to take a little bus ride. The excursion we picked for this stop was a catamaran snorkeling adventure- and it was awesome! We had to ride on this little ferry type thing for a few hours to get to the place where we were going to snorkel. The ride there though was almost as fun as the snorkeling part. The tour guides here were awesome too- they always had music playing and got us up dancing, played funny games and more. In addition to the fun times on the boat, we also saw some cool things out in the water. The most amazing things we saw were whales and dolphins. The whales were the best though. At one point, there were 3 of them jumping clear out of the water and waving to us!!

Mazatlan (Tuesday)

Our second port was Mazatlan. We didn't have any excursions on this day so we just planned on walking around the city and hanging out at the beach. Sadly though, when we were getting ready to leave the boat, Cam wasn't feeling well, so Dad stayed behind with him. Since we didn't have phones to get a hold of each other, we just figured that even if they did end up coming into the city that we would never find them. So me, Brod, Jess, Jake and my mom left to have a fun day in Mazatlan. When we first got off the boat, we were bombarded with people trying to sell stuff to us. One guy told us we could stay at a really nice resort all day long for free, have access to their pool, the beach, food and a boogie board all for free and all we had to do was have mom listen to a sales pitch about a timeshare for an hour. After deciding that this wasn't a scam, we decided to do it... and it was awesome!! Us 4 kids hung out at the pool while mom was stuck in the seminar- which only ended up being a half hour. The resort was so beautiful!! They had some rocks for cliff jumping and a water slide which Jake had a lot of fun on (and also kept us entertained with his funny personality).
After getting our free lunch, we went to the beach to hang out. While there, Jake decided he wanted to go para-sailing. The guy said he would give us a deal if three of us did it, so me (after much persuading) and Jessica decided to do it as well. Brody had already done it and it was only $30 which I thought was a good deal. At first, I was pretty nervous. And it didn't help that when Jake was done, he was pretty freaked out too. There was a lot to learn about how to land, which didn't help with my nerves.I got even more scared when the boat started pulling me across the sand and I knew there was no way out of it.But once I got into the air, I LOVED it! The scenery was gorgeous and I didn't even feel like I was up that high. And the landing wasn't too bad either. Here's Jessica getting ready to go....
Jake wasn't scared at all in the beginning.

After we all got done, we were feeling pretty bad for Dad and Cam who we thought were back at the boat. However, it wasn't more than 2 minutes later that we saw them walking up the beach towards us!! Dad wanted to come to the same beach that him and my mom were at on their honeymoon, which is where we were, so they found us! We were so happy! So cam ended up going para-sailing as well. The beach here was so pretty. I love being by the ocean.
