This last weekend was packed with excitement! I think the next few weeks will be the same as we try and do everything we want to before we leave here forever!! Here's a look at how our weekend went:
Friday-- No pictures, but we went to a drive-in movie and saw 2 great movies for $6! (Limitless and Source Code). The weather was great, and I still think this is such a fun and cheap activity!
Saturday-- In the morning, we said goodbye to our good friends Dave and Claire (and helped them pack up their things). They are moving to Germany where Dave will work for Lufthansa for the next few years. We are so excited for them!
That night, we went to a party-- Thunderbird style! It was at a bar, so me, Brody, Dan and Meghann had fun drinking our soda's and watching everyone else get drunk. There were about 70 + Thunderbird students there! We've become great friends with a lot of the students that Brody goes to school with and we always enjoy getting together with them... even if it is in a bar.
.
Sunday-- After church, we went to my cousin Jordan's house for dinner, along with my other cousins Dave and Courtney. It has been so fun living so close to them for the last 2 years. We've had a lot of fun getting together with them on occasion and I definitely appreciate all they've done for us!

I just saw these photos on FB this morning, but it's nice to have words to go along with them. You've been in AZ WAY too long if you don't think that 85 degrees is hot. Hello!!! I can't believe your adventure is over, it seemed to fly by!
Wow so crazy that you will not be living there anymore. Good luck getting everything done you want to. Can't wait to see you very soon! And I agree with lindsey.. you have been there too long if you think that 85 is not hot.. only didn't you say 95? either way.. Great post! Oh, and yes houston. Sorry, I forgot to tell you. I know, I am sad that it will be farther away from you. That would be fun if you could still come down. Or maybe we could meet half way or something.
I hope you enjoy your last remaining HOT days in AZ. I'm so glad you could spend some time with our family and get better acquainted. Now on to the next adventure!
You seriously said that 95 degrees is not that hot??? You have become an Arizona girl! You will FREEZE when you get home to Utah! What a fun weekend you had! I love the drive in movie for $6! That's amazing- and for current movies. FYI- You look extra pretty in the picture at the bar where you're hanging on to Brody's arm- I can't wait to see you guys in about 10 days!
I meant to say it wasn't that hot considering how cold the water was. Plus it was slightly windy and ALL the slides had shade coverings over the part where you wait in the line, so we were never directly under the sun. But on a normal day NOT at a water park, yes 95 would be hot!
