Well, the summer is halfway over and that means Brody is finished with one adventure (selling security systems in Oklahoma) and is now on to the next (doing school work in Africa). Luckily, he had a spare day in-between and was able to come home. (Literally, it was only one day). And that one day just so happened to be the 4th of July!! I'm so glad it worked out that way! So we packed in as much as we could that day and had a lot of fun.
We had breakfast with my family in the morning, and then went to my aunt's house to ride her new Razor. That thing is a blast and a half!
We spent the rest of the day with Brody's family. We played some fun outdoor games, had yummy tin-foil dinner's, roasted smore's and did fireworks! (I'm so happy that Utah has legalized the big ones. They are so much fun!)
Brody had never met our newest niece, Devyn, so he could be seen holding her very often throughout the night.

It was great being with Brody, but it went by so fast it felt like a dream. It was like I fell asleep and had a wonderful dream that we were back together again, but then I woke up and he was gone. I guess one day is better than none though, and what a great day it was!!

It was so awesome to see you guys at the airport. Lets seriously play! I'll let you know my numbers when I get some:) I'm so glad you got to see your hubby for a day at least!!!!!
I'm so glad that you were able to see Brody for at least a day and that you had so many fun things to do. I'm still jealous about the fireworks. And I am surprised to see Brody holding a baby!
Your summer is insane! I can't believe you're going without your man for so long. You rock. Yay for seeing him... for a bit... I hope Brody stays safe in Africa! My sister is there for 3 1/2 months... she's ready to be home, haha. 6 weeks... oi. You can do it!
That is so tragically sweet! I'm glad you made the most of your day together and am sure you'll love having him back for good.
Good report Kylee on your 24 hours with Brody. It won't be long and you'll be together again...hang in there.
It does sound like a very fun day. I'm loving all your photos and I can tell a big difference in your camera, you still liking it? Great photos, good job taking fourth of july photos, I pretty much sucked this year. I'm sleepy, this comment is pretty lame, but if I don't comment now I know I won't get around to it again. :)
