It's over...

I am so incredibly sad that the Harry Potter series is done forever.  Not only is it amazingly creative and extremely entertaining, but I kind of grew up with the characters since the 1st book came out when I was 11 (the same age as all the main characters).  But alas, all good things must come to an end... and what a great end it was!!

I went to the midnight premier of Harry Potter 7 pt. 2 with my mom and brothers in Ogden (an hour away) at a theater that has assigned seating, so we were able to show up about 20 minutes before midnight and we were good to go!  It was so great.

Unfortunately, having assigned seating doesn't prevent you from sitting right in front of the most annoying person you've ever met.  The boy sitting directly behind us talked {loud} the entire time through the previews and gave us quite the performance when the movie actually started.  Lucky for us, my brother caught the whole thing on his iphone.  Take a look:

Yep, that was for real.

Anyway, it was a fun night and I absolutely LOVED the movie.  It was A-MA-ZING!

So long Harry Potter!

Oh man, that kid. I'm reliving it and it's so funny. Who acts that way? Someday I'll stop thinking about the movie every five minutes. I had this same reaction when I finished the book. A little obsessed. . .

I didn't know boys could scream like that. Way to go Jake on the secretive filming. I've still got to see the movie and can't wait.

Kylee, I'm totally serious when I say that I think that's the same kid who sat next to us the first time we saw Mamma Mia! I watched this while on the phone to Carol and cackled! The kid was out of control, he hugged me and touched me through the whole movie, calling me his new best friend. The two homophobic men with us were mortified!!! You've made my day! Too funny!

Heartbroken Harry Potter is over. Good call on going to the midnight showing, I bet the energy was awesome. We went to a late showing a week later, and there was only twenty or so of us in the theater, just not the same. That video.....I really did think you were just being funny and pulled it off of you tube, but that is clearly Jake filming. What was he so excited about? What part of the movie was that? Classic!
