The week before the move

Brody returned home from Africa on Monday August 15 (there might possibly be another post about that in the future… if he can find time in his busy school schedule) and then we left 5 days later, so it was quite the busy week.  But we were lucky enough to squeeze in a few fun activities.

On Tuesday, we spent the day in Bear Lake with my mom, aunt Annie, cousin Lindsey and her girls.  (I was SO happy to see those 2 girls again!  They just make me so happy)  We had a fun day eating lunch, playing in the sand/water and chatting.

2-year-old Lydia tries oh so hard to be like her older sister, but sometimes, she just can't quite figure it out.  I love these 2 pictures.

Wednesday was just filled with boring things that needed to get done, but I do think we snuck in a game of Rook with my parents.  We also visited for a while with Brody’s family.

Thursday was the wedding of one of Brody’s best friends, so we spent the day attending all the events.  It was so great though to see all of his friends and their wives.  It is such a fun group!  Too bad we keep moving away from them L  This was the only picture I managed to get (and it wasn’t even from my own camera… thanks Camie!)

The wives-- Me, Tosha, Amanda and Camie (although we’re missing the newly added wife… she was busy though, it being her wedding day and all)

Also on Thursday, we went out to dinner with Brody’s family for Berg’s birthday and hung out with the Bundy’s that night.  It was a great day!

Friday we loaded up, finished any last minute necessities and we were on our way!

The End
