We enjoyed taking Sal on walks through the crunchy leaves to play at the field.
A pretty lake near my work
As always, we had a ton of leaves to rake...
On October 18, we woke up to a random 6 inches of snow. It melted later that day and hasn't returned since. Typical fall weather. It was pretty to see a mix of summer, fall and winter all together.
I had the day off that day, and I was nannying for my summer family, so I took the kids out to play in the snow!
We did some sledding, had a snowball fight and built a snowman (or snowGHOST as we called him since it was almost Halloween and the kids did so much "packing" and "shaving" that they eventually turned the 3 separate balls into one giant blob). It was great fun!

These pictures are so pretty! I especially love the one of the lake. And crazy that you had 3 seasons in one day- or you could probably say 4 since there were some flowers too- for spring. And I can't believe that you got enough snow to make a snowman, or snowghost. Thats fun that you took the kids out to do that. You weren't still nannying everyday in October though were you? Or did they need you because the kids didn't have school, and you didn't have work so you could. I'm guessing the answer to that is yes. :)
I love your beautiful pictures! I can't believe it has snowed already, and hope you love playing in it all winter long.
The leaves are gorgeous! That lake by your work is amazingly beautiful! I love the leaves in your yard even though it's a lot of work to bag them. But you have the leaf blower now, right? Well, at least one you can borrow? That early snowstorm was a lot of snow! You probably won't get that much again until May! haha
