any fun summer activities with me, I had to find another accomplice......
MY MOTHER!! We had a good summer together and did a lot of fun things. Here's what a typical day of ours looked like (if I wasn't working):
Ride our bikes down to the gym
Attend a work out class (usually Zumba or Pilates).
Have lunch together, either just at home or we'd go out somewhere
Next, we'd do some sort of fun activity like: a craft, shopping or going to a movie. The most recent movie we saw was 'The Help' which we both LOVED. I would definitely recommend. (Oh, and then after it was over, we sneaked over into the theater next to ours to watch the last part of Harry Potter. Yep, we're pretty cool like that).
In the evening we'd usually go for a walk with Salomon the dog
And to unwind after a long day of hard work (wink, wink) we'd relax in our favorite 'spots' downstairs (me on the luvsac and mom on the one-seater couch) and watch one of our two summer shows (the bachelorette and 'so you think you can dance')
It was a pretty low-key summer, with not much going on, but it was still a good one! Thanks mom for spending so much time with me! Also, I'm pretty sure Brody would have been interested in none of the above. On the flip side, I wasn't able to do any rock climbing, camping and other things that I would have done with Brody.

On another note.... I am back together again with my lover and
WE MOVE TOMORROW!!! Soooo, next time you hear from me,
it will be from our new home in Fort Collins, Colorado!
I can hardly wait!!

I'm glad your Mom was there to keep you company while Brody was away. And YEA on the long separation being over. Best of luck in CO. We'll be missing you down in the heat...
Great post. I'm glad you had someone to hang out with all day everyday if it couldn't be Brody. I miss the little fun activities like all of those! Good luck moving today and I will see you VERY soon! :)

What a fun summer having your mom all to yourself...pretty much. I bet she loved it even more than you.
Yes, Lindsey is right. So is Annie. And Von, Jord and Jess. I LOVE this post! Maybe the most of any you've ever done! We did have a terrific summer together and I'm sooo glad you were here to make my summer so much more fun than it would have been. I loved every activity we did together and will miss everything and YOU so much. I'm happy however that you are back w/ Brody and on to your next adventure together! Love you :)
