Speaking of visitors, a mere 2 days after arriving, we had our first ones! My mom and sister were driving through from Texas (where Jess and her husband have been living all summer) and it just so happened that Ft. Collins
Even though we were still in a mess of unpacking, we were able to squeeze in some fun! We went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse and stopped at Charming Charlie (our favorite store which does not exist in Utah) on the way home.
Brody was not too pleased about this, as you can tell from his face, but me and Jess had a blast trying on these awesome hats!
They also helped me with some of my unpacking/décor set-up which I was extremely happy and grateful for!
It was a lot of fun to see my mom and sister, show them our new place and hang out, for even just a short time.

What awesome pictures! I love them all- esp the one of Brody on his first day, and Sal drinking from the kitchen faucet. Good one- he must have been very thirsty because he usually wouldn't do that, right? I'm so happy that you both love everything so much and that this is where you'll be for 5 plus years instead of AZ. . . I can't wait to come for a visit again soon!
I meant to make this comment on under the first post. . . oh well. Looking at it again, I have a few more comments- your couch looks redder than it is in that picture- weird. . . funny that you've met so many Kylee/Kylie's! How about there were none in AZ when we lived there, then in Utah there were a lot, now there's even more. You hadn't told me there were apt parties where food is provided. Cool. The girl didn't tell us that as a selling point when we were looking did she?
